Lovin'Those Blues

B.B, Vai, Clapton and Tommy,
Have made an impact on Aussie and Pommie.
They took their time as real muso's do,
Checking harmonics in the loo.

Rhythm and blues sound under the ceiling,
Calloused fingers made the riff of the feeling.
Feet moved about in time to beat,
Girls joining in from off the street.

The music played was what they love,
Voices joined in tune from above.
Stories told within song, and loved by all,
Young and old, short and tall.

Relate we all could to lyrics and verse,
Emotions felt, whether happy or terse.
To learn from their idols, come what may,
Their technique to perfect was what they pray.

Practice and more was what was needed,
Ideas for tunes could be seeded.
A hit was due, to quench the thirst,
To keep position of the first.

B.B, Steve, Eric and others,
Had the following of wives and mothers.
Their tunes were popular for all who heard,
Never doubting at all any word.

And so they remain classics, generations through,
Forever to be Rhythm and Blues
